Description
Summary:Characteristic of Reservoir can be determined by well testing. The main purpose of well testing is determining the capability of reservoir to produce. One of methods that become main subject in this final report is graphical and type curve matching method from pressure buildup test. Recording data that describe of pressure versus time were obtained from shut-in bottom hole pressure. Further analysis on those data was done to determine formation permeability, the damage or enhancement of formation around the well, reservoir boundary, and other reservoir characteristics.

Interpretation on well testing results was done by using special software, which is FEKETE Welltest. This software can be used to determine the above reservoir parameters.

From pressure versus time data, further analysis was done to obtain the connection between pressure derivatives versus time. These data were plotted on log-log graphs to be applied on Automatic Type Curve Matching (ATCM) to gain reservoir parameters.

Y-1 well which has a single porosity reservoir characteristic has parameters which are skin factor, S, is -0.0239, dimensionless wellbore storage constant, CD is 6.141, permeability in x-direction, Kx, 21.641 mD, permeability in y-direction, Ky, 38.762 mD, permeability in z-direction, Kz, 0.352 mD, and it has P* of 1102.96 psi. The reservoir behaves as an infinite acting reservoir.

While Y-2 well which has a dual porosity behavior has parameters which are skin factor (S) is -3.569, wellbore storage constant (CD) is 22347.969, permeability in x-direction, Kx, 7.958 mD, permeability in y-direction, Ky, 4.494mD, permeability in z-direction, Kz, 11.375 mD, and it has P* of 1808.99 psi. The model shows intersecting faults that has angle of 90°. Well location in x-direction, Xw, is 568.51 feet, Yw is 318.81 feet. It also has, λ, inter porosity coefficient of 1.04e-5, and the storativity ratio, ω, of 0.518.
