Deformation is an event when an object change shape or size that is caused by external forces applied to the object, the applied force is either a pull or push force, torque, press force, or a temperature changes. On way to calculate the value of deformation is by using numerical methods, for exampl...

On way to calculate the value of deformation is by using numerical methods, for example finite element method. This final project will be discussed on the modeling of bridge deformation with finite element method. The modeled bridge use in this final project is Pasupati Bridge in Bandung. The deformation data from finite element method will be used to make a bridge ather given the external forces. From the modeling results data, we obtained a quite small deformation range value which ranges in millimeters. So we can draw the conclusion that the model of the bridge that we create by finite element method is same as the original model of Pasupati bridge text
