The increase of population and consumption pattern in society create an increase in volume, type, and diversal solid waste characteristics. Therefore, the solid waste management is needed. But, until now the solid waste management is not properly suitable with method and solid waste engineering that friendly to environment so that it generates the negative effect to society health and to environment. The solid waste problem gradually become the national problem so that the solid waste management need to be comprehensive and integrated from top to bottom in order to give economical benefit, healthy to society, and safe for environmental, also can change society habit. One of solid waste management that have environmental conception is integrated waste treatment. In the residence that have 150 family with medium income will generate about 1,602 m3/day with composition of organic waste about 56,35% (food waste 45,46%, leaf waste 9,02%, wood waste 1,87%) and non-organic waste about 43,65% (plastic waste 19,13%, paper waste 14,91%, metal waste 2,12%, fabric waste 2,95%, diaper or tampon 2,40%, rubber 0,25%, and hazardous waste and other about 1,87%). From the residence of 150 family with an area about 10.755 m2 have a ritation time about 2,436 houts per ritation with open basin tricycle motor. Biological treatment used is anaerobic digester with a processing capacity of 0.86 m3 / day. The planned dump site has an area of 120 m2 with space sorting facility, garage means of collecting, processing area, staff and office space, toilets, kitchen for biogas, and the room for maneuver collection tool. Residues resulting from waste management is about 2.1 m3 / week or 300 liters / day, so the reduction of waste by waste management are planned to reach 81.27%. The first investment in waste management with 3R in residence of middle economic class people is Rp. 134,451,000,00 and with operational and maintenance cost for 10 year about Rp. 1,563,276,000.00 and waste treatment price about Rp. 1,744.05 per kilogram or Rp 270.99 per litre. text |
