There are some production wells that will be used as injection well with variated rate of injection. Initialization and history matching are conducted to validate the reservoir model. Injection of pure carbondioxide is variated from 5 – 40 MMSCFD for 12 years. It is resulting the increasing of oil recovery between 1.94 – 9.36% of OOIP. The highest recovery factor occurred by injecting 40 MMSCFD pure carbondioxide to the reservoir. It is also concluded that the increasing of injection rate will not always give increasing oil recovery significantly. In this case, the range of optimum injection rate is 22 – 25 MMSCFD. text |
