Description
Summary:Coffee husk is potentially compostable because it contains nitrogen, phosphorus

and potassium which can increase crop production. The compost can be applied to

curly lettuce. Effect of manure compost treatment, coffee husk compost

conversion by Black Soldier Fly 1: 1, coffee husk compost conversion by Black

Soldier Fly 1: 2, fresh coffee compost 1: 1 and fresh coffee compost 1: 2 to

growth and absorption lettuce plants were studied and designed using the

Randomized Block Design (RAK) method. The results showed that the largest

fresh biomass was in the compost manure treatment specifically 62.513 gram, the

largest dry biomass is in the compost manure treatment specifically 4.03867 gram,

the highest nitrogen absorption is in the manure treatment with the absorption

value of each 1 kilogram sample specifically 2.912 gram, the highest phosphorus

uptake is in the coffee husk compost treatment by Black Soldier Fly conversion

1:1 with the absorption value of 1 kilogram of sample specifically 0.00937 grams,

and the highest potassium uptake is in the coffee husk compost treatment by Black

Soldier Fly conversion 1:2 with the absorption value per 1 kilogram sample

specifically 3.18118 gram. Based on this result, coffee husk compost treatment by

Black Soldier Fly conversion can be recommended as fertilizer on curly lettuce.
