ANALYSIS OF TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION IMPACT, CONCERNING PREFERENCE TO ONLINE COURIER AND CONVENTIONAL AT GREAT BANDUNG

The mobility of citizens in Great Bandung City has been increase, recent phenomenon is citizens needs of sending the package and document by courier increasingly high so that the courier producent bring up technology system for courier reservation. The pusrpose of this research is about finding the most effected variabel for user to choose online or conventional courier. <br /> <br /> This research is binomial discrete choice to modelling the preference of sending the package and document with online courier or conventional courier, technique of <br /> <br /> survey using stated preference which is giving scenario about sending the packages and documents. And the responder have to chooise their preferences. The result of research that the responder choose courier with technology application rather than conventional courier. Modelling result using Rstudio found that siginificant attributes of courier are age, job, income, accesibility, travel time and insurance. With the deviation utility value &#1062;ko - &#1062; kk = 1.84891 - (0.46863 × &#61508;Age*) - (0.64390 × &#61508;Job*) + (0.41253 × &#61508;Income**) - (3.41902 × &#61508;Accesibility***) - (1.39523 × &#61508;Ttime***) - (0.58992 × &#61508;Insurance**). And accesibility atribute has <br /> <br /> krucial point at 2 minutes so if responder get 2 minutes earlier than conventional courier probability online courier would be chosen rather than conventional courier <br /> <br /> with persentage is 74%.
