Summary:Cikapundung river is one of the creeks in the watershed (DAS) Citarum through Bandung regency, West Bandung regency and Bandung City. The river is widely used as the main source of the raw water for the water companies (PDAM), agricultural irrigation and the disposal of organic waste from cattle farms. Based on a World Health Organization (WHO), the volume of wastewater that produced by cow farm is 20,2 m3/cow/year,including 250 kg of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) / cow / year, and 80 kg of Nitrogen (N) / head / year. From the research, BOD that generated by cow farm was 7090mg / L and 981, 39 . So that the wastewater that produced by cow farm in this study needs to be treated or utilized . One source of organic waste from cow farms is urine. Urine could be processed into liquid fertilizer because it contains nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. The objective of cow urine utilization is to increase the clean technology process in cow farm, where the wastewater that produced from cow farm would be used as liquid fertilizer so that the negative effects to Cikapundung river could be reducted. Sampling location in this study was in BPTSP & HMT Cikole , a farm in Dago Atas and a farm in Sunten jaya Village. The liquid fertilizer production from cow urine was held by adding EM4 and sugarcane in some variation of concentration as activator for fermentation process. From the variations that has been done in the research showed that the liquid fertilizer which gained the optimum concentration of nitrogen, phosphat, and also potassium was given by adding EM4 10%.
