The purpose of this study is to provide solutions for a problems faced by companies, especially in the logistics department. The Company has a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) as a reference in achieving their targets. The logistics department has a 5-month KPI target for inventory value. However, the logistics department has not met the KPI target yet. To help the companies in lowering the value of inventory, the author analyze the problem and conducting a several ways that are related to solving the problem. This research using the forecasting strategy and warehouse management system to reduce the value of inventory. <br />

The author using business process modeling as a first step in analyzing the business situation that occurred in the logistics department. Furthermore, the author uses the Current Reality Tree (CRT) to find out the root cause of the problem. After that, it can be concluded that there are two factors that cause logistics department business issues which is: (1) lack of forecasting accuracy; (2) conventional warehouse management; (3) Unmethodical Inventory Replenishment <br />

After getting the root cause problem, the author provide suggestions for PT. XYZ to implements the forecasting strategy using Exponential Smoothing method and apply Warehouse Management System and use the Economic Order Quantity to made a purchase order as a supply plan. The results of this study can reduce the value of inventory by 0.42 months and increased opportunity cost of Rp 3,611,555,041<p align="justify"> <br />
