The structure of Pekanbaru Riverfront Center is a building consists of 3 floors and 2 floors of basement. This structure is composed of reinforced concrete with unique and unsymetrical site and floor plan so we need a detailed analysis of structure. Upper structure design of Pekanbaru Riverfront Center is designed by using Special Moment Resisting Frame (SMRF). <br /> <br /> A structural design must satisfy several requirement such as economu, suitability of material for architectural and structural function, and structural adequacy. A strucutral design must strong enough to support all the gravity loads, such as strong load, dead load, and live load based on the aim of the building. The structure is not only designed in term of strength, but the structure of Pekanbaru Riverfront Center is also designed in terms of serviceability to be used comfortably. <br /> <br /> Dsigning methods used are literature studies and modeling of structure. The dynamic analysis and structure designing refers to Indonesia’s standards, which are SNI 1726-2012, SNI 1727-2013, dan SNI 2847-2013.
