Research on diet formulation is under process for more than hundred years. A number of method and approach have been defined to find the best formula for this problem. One of that approach is a non-linear diet formulation which have been introduced by Pratiksha Saxena. In this thesis, we will study about how to optimize diet formulation for sahiwal cows. <br /> <br /> <br /> There are 3 approaches that used to optimize diet formulation for sahiwal cows. First approach is by using Cuckoo Search algorithm. The second approach is by using Gradient-Based Cuckoo Search algorithm. And for the last approach is by using Improved Cuckoo Search algorithm. We will be using MATLAB to determine the difference between these approach. <br /> <br /> <br /> Furthermore, this thesis will also study about how to minimize feed cost so that farmers can gain a high profit from this problem.
