To meet the needs of water and electricity, will be utilized renewable energy source that is, water. One of the utilization of water for various needs such as generating electrical energy, irrigate the irrigation area and the fulfillment of raw water by constructing the Dam. Dams utilize excess water during the rainy season by accommodating it to help with water shortages in the dry season. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Pasr Kopo Dam is located on the Cisimeut River, Lebak Regency, Banten with a watershed area of 173.54 km2. Dams with a width of more than 300 meters and a height of 45 meters has a function to withstand the flow of the river and accommodate it until it is finally flowed to the location in need. This Pasir Kopo Dam has a storage volume of about 282 million m3 with an area of 1322 hectares in a +127 m elevation above sea level. Pasir Kopo Dam has 80% dependable discharge of 8.43 m3/ s, the discharge is used for irrigation purposes, raw water and flowed through turbines so that electricity is generated to serve the City of Serang and surrounding areas. The magnitude of the flood discharge value with return period PMF in year is 2519,13 m3/s. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Besides the dam, another important building component is the spillway to drain water that exceeds the storage capacity. Mercu spillway is designed with ogee shape and design discharge used in planning building spillway is debit of PMF result of routing that is 800 m3/s starting at dam in normal water level condition. The width of the mercu design is 70 m with a height of about 3.1 m above the mercu. The budget plan cost required for the construction of Pasir Kopo Dam is about 1.2 Trillion Rupiah <br /> text
