In general, to predict the pile capacity is used static analysis, but in recent decades, a result of the development of the data acquisition resulted in pile driving dynamic methods become an integral part in predicting and measuring the capacity of piles. Then in the last few decades, pile driveability analysis using wave equation began to grow and become one of the most commonly used methods. Analysis using the wave equation is usually used for the selection / approval on the equipment to be used during installation of piles (for example: the components of hammer, hammer cushion, driving head and pile cushion) and make sure the pressure at the time of installation does not exceed the strength of the pile material. It is used to ensure that the installation of equipment that has been able to provide an efficient formulation in expected depth without damage in pile. In this thesis, will be calculated bearing capacity of piles using static analysis, by using the approach of N-SPT and soil parameters, and also dynamic analysis, using a dynamic formula and also software GRLWEAP in project study areas in the Transmission Tower Cilegon, Banten, Nagan Raya NAD power plant project, and the ex-president's Pier, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

For the static analysis, the axial bearing capacity is calculated use Meyerhoff Method and β methods, whereas for dynamic analysis using a dynamic formula, consisting of Gates and Modified Hiley formula, and using software GRLWEAP. Then performed an analysis of the driveability of each study site using software GRLWEAP, the analysis consist of evaluation of the hammer’s weight and also stress that occurs during driving. This thesis also perform a sensitivity analysis of the factors that influence the pile driving, this analysis is done to determine the effect of variations in the efficiency of using hammer, shaft resistance, toe quake, skin quake, toe damping, and skin damping. The results obtained include the hammer efficiency has a significant effect on the bearing capacity is reached for a particular set of values. text
