Time and cost are two important things in construction project. In fact, many problems are found in the execution of a construction project. One of them is related to time and cost relationship in which the project cost minimization can make the project completion time longer. Otherwise, if the project would like to be finished faster, then cost will be very expensive due to the addition of resources. This problem called time-cost trade-off. A method is needed to find appropriate resources in order to have optimal balance between time and cost. In this final project, time-cost trade-off is purely integer problem due to many integer variables. A method that is used to solve time-cost trade-off problem is Hybrid method which combines Linear Programming and Integer Programming sequentially to obtain an exact solution with relatively fast computing time. Linear Programming is used to obtain a lower bound of the minimum direct cost of each activity, and then exact solution obtained in Integer Programming. |
