Description
Summary:The Rajamandala formation exposed in the Padalarang area, West Java, from Cikamuning area (Tagogapu) in the east to Saguling in the west. Limestones in this formation can be devided in two unit rocks namely the Limestone Member and the Clay-Marl Member. The formation was deposited in Late Oligosen to Early Miocene. This present study was conducted around the drill ITB-1 in the Cikamuning area, Padalarang, West Java with use ground penetrating radar (GPR) method. This study includes data acquisition GPR with frequency 75 MHz. GPR data processing with use software ReflexW, and interpret field data with the help of drill ITB-1 data. The frequency of the tool used is 75 MHz, the use of this frequency gives a fairly good resolution capabilities with the depth of coverage that meets the target. The GPR data processing performed by these steps, dewow, AGC, energy decay, background removal, bandpass frequency, autocorrelation, deconvolution, stack trace, kirchoff migration, FK-filter, and static correction. The data have been processed to do the interpretation to determine the condition of the geology subsurface and scattered limestones facies in this research area.
