ESTIMATION OF PERMEABILITY IN POROUS ROCK TO KNOW WELLS CONDITION IN MUDE’S FIELD TUBAN

IPR‟s curve is a curve that predicts the productivity of the well from the parameters of the permeability of a porous rock formations. IPR curve for wells X and wells Y in the Mude„s Field Tuban initially has a reservoir pressure (Pr) is greater than the saturation pressure (Pb) but wit...

IPR curve for wells X and wells Y in the Mude„s Field Tuban initially has a reservoir pressure (Pr) is greater than the saturation pressure (Pb) but with the time of production, changes in the composition of the oil as a result out action of gas from oil, which resulted in a change of pressure so we get a graph that is no longer linear. To determine the relationship of permeability parameters in rock formations productive core samples analyzed through the X‟s Field and Y‟s Field and artificial samples that connects permeability and porosity. Using the conventional method in a graph plotting the porosity and permeability, can be analyzed that data field core value of R2 shows the correlation results do not approach the field conditions. As for the value of R2 in sample data show that the porosity only affects the permeability of 45.83% only in a linear graph. It can be concluded that the permeability of a porous rock formation is not only influenced by the value of porosity, but also influenced by other parameters like connectedness pore space, grain size, sorting or fluid saturation. From the relationship of porosity and permeability in a certain production wells in field can be made a model in which the model can be applied to other production wells in the field with the same conditions of the rock formations. text
