A SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Recovered) model with additional Congenital compartment is <br /> <br /> constructed here. The population of children who were born with congenital syndrome are in the additional compartment. The intensity of the spread of the disease <br /> <br /> is measured with an endemic threshold which is known as the basic reproduction number. If this number is less than one, the disease free equilibrium is locally stable <br /> <br /> and disease will disappear in time, otherwise the disease will end up with an endemic. Here the basic reproductive number is obtained for the model with mosquito control. Sensitivity analysis of basic reproductive number and the endemic state of the Congenital compartment with respect to the ratio of mosquito - human population and mosquito control parameter are shown. Related dynamical simulations <br /> <br /> of the congenital compartment for variation of control parameters are also presented. text
