Summary:Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology is used to meet the growing data transmission needs. Triple Play is a service that combines data, voice and video transmission in one channel. GPON network planning using Fiber To The Home (FTTH) application model on Asmaul Husna Ujung Berung Bandung housing which amounts 120 residential houses and one tahfidz house. From the results of planning, will be designed FTTH network from OLT to customer’residences by determining the placement, distance, and specification of the devices. After that, will be analyzed network performance of FTTH network design. <br /> <br /> The design result shows that the design of Asmaul Husna Ujung Berung residences uses one ODC, 16 ODP and 121 ONT using 1: 4 splitter on ODC and 1: 8 splitter on ODP. The designed GPON network has a capacity of 106 subscribers / core with transmission speeds of 1,54 Gbps per core. This capacity meets the customer traffic requirement that only 14,79 Mbps per household. Network performance analysis shows the wavelength of 1310 nm has power budget link value 22,2065 dB, power margin 3,7935 dB, and rise time budget 0,3045 ns. At 1490 nm wavelength has the power budget link value 21,9406 dB, power margin 4,0594 dB, and the rise time budget 0,2583 ns. The results prove that the network design has met the network performance standards where the value of power budget link does not exceed the limit of 28 dB, the power margin is above zero, and the total rise time budget value is not greater than 70% one bit NRZ period. <br /> <br /> Estimated cost required on this device is 170.789. 000 rupiah with air cable and 170.836.500 rupiah with duct cable.
