Failure modelling uses the AFT (Accelerated Failure Time) model that allows to incorporate usage and operating condition in the failure rate function h(t). The decision variables of the model are T and S. T* and S* optimal are <br /> <br /> <br /> obtained by minimizing the expected total maintenance cost per unit time, J(T,S). Sensitivity analysis was done to see the behaviour of the solution with respect to the change of parameter values. The results show that the greater of y and &#947; values, the wider the interval <br /> <br /> <br /> (T,S] and the lower expectations total cost per unit time (T,S], and the greater the p value, the greater the J(T,S). Comparison of the model results indicate that the EHOP (External Hybrid Opportunitas) model yield better solutions than the EHD (External Hybrid Dasar) model. text
