Summary: | HijUp is one of electronic commerce that sell Islamic fashion products with online mall concept using website and mobile application. Number of HijUp's visitor is increasing along with improvement that done by HijUp. However there are problems regarding HijUp operation, data from HijUp shows that canceled order rate is quite high and funnel of HijUp's buying process shows that only 11% of HijUp's visitors is successfully converted into buyer. Besides that, preliminary study shows that there are problem that experienced while using HijUp's website and mobile application. Therefore, this research is aimed to evaluate and find problems regarding user interface of HijUp's website and mobile application using usability and user acceptance approach then to propose improvement about user interface of HijUp's website and mobile application. <br />

Usability evaluation is conducted by measuring effectivity, efficiency, and user satisfaction. While user acceptance evaluation is conducted with a questionnaire. There are 120 participant involved in the research that grouped into novice user website participant (never shop with HijUp's website), expert user website participant (ever shop with HijUp's website), novice user mobile application participant (never shop with HijUp's mobile application), and expert user mobile application participant (ever shop with HijUp's mobile application). Research shows that both website and mobile application have good effectivity but poor efficiency due to time completion and frequency of error criterion. This research also found some point in user satisfaction questionnaire and user acceptance questionnaire that rated low. Outcome of the research are eight proposed improvements for website's user interface and nine proposed improvements for mobile application's user interface. |
