| Summary: | Socialization is a primary need for all human as a social being. This fact is one of the factors that cause elderly which having more leisure time than younger people often feels lonely. These elderly still live with their family, but each family member’s own activities make elderly feel being left out by their own family. Therefore, a facility that can provide elderly with productive activity during their leisure time together with other elderly without living separately from their family. All the data used are gathered by field survey, interview, and literature studies. Analitical method used is comparation between field survey and interview with literature studies already gathered beforehand. The result of the analysis is an interior concept to be used in Bandung Senior Club which is Homey, Warm and Safe. These concepts are made to suit both elderly physical and psychological condition. Also, these concept are implemented in Bandung Senior Club’s Interior Design in the form of Lobby and Activity Room which hopefully will help elderly to be active and productive in their golden years. |
