Description
Summary:Diffraction area nature phenomena that accur in the daily lifes and be one of physics research, especially in optic. When light meets an abstacle during its path, then the obstacle block the light and tends to cause the formation of a shadow in the region behind the obstacle. If the obstacle is perforated (made slit), then light will pass through the holes and create the dark-bright pattern (diffraction pattern). The phenomenon of light emmision passing through the slits is called diffraction. The objectif of this research are to build diffraction pattern of Fresnel and Fraunhofer to assorted form the gap with the algorithm FFT (Fast Fourier Transform). Program made given by the input apart the perception, radius, wide interpose and wavelength. The slit was modeled by array that sign as 1 for aperture and 0 for the opposite. The diffraction on the slit was representations by Fourier Transform, in Matlab software was provided by FFT funcion. From the command network obtained diffraction pattern of Fresnel and Fraunhofer two dimension and also its intensity distribution. From single slit simulations was obtained dark light pattern. The narrower the slit, the wider the light pattern. For circle, the smaller the radius the wider diffraction pattern. From inferential research result that algorithm FFT able to visualizing diffraction event by kinds of form interpose.
