STUDY ON THE FORMULATION OF TOURISM ROUTES IN BOGOR CITY BASED ON VISITOR PREFERENCE AT TOURIST ATTRACTION

The development of tourism is a form of tourism products in which there is the integration between transportation with tourist attractions that aims to increase the attractiveness of tourist attractions. Bogor city has tourism potential that can be developed to be a tourism product such as city sightseeing tour. This is supported by the high level of tourist interest and by the minimum quality of public transport services in the city of Bogor. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In support of the tourism route development, visitor preference is a major demand component needed to be able to plan a travel route in accordance with the wishes and needs. Scope of the study area covers the entire city of Bogor by grouping tourism sites into five groups, such as the nature tourism, recreation parks, cultural and history, science, as well as shopping and dining. The method used in this study is a mixed method. The method of data collection is using the primary survey through questionnaires and secondary surveys through review of the literature and documents. The method of data analysis is using content analysis, descriptive analysis, and schallogram analysis. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Point of origin is set on two points, which are Terminal Baranangsiang and Bogor Station. Travel destination point obtained by score weighting and the result of schallogram analysis. The development of travel route alternatives based on the results of the analysis of the origin and destination point and the analysis of the road network. Development of alternative tourism route system must be integrated with the transport network in the city of Bogor. Integration of tourism route with the Trans Pakuan and the concept of park and ride is needed to be able to reach the tourism sites that can not be touched by a sightseeing tour and to facilitate visitor to make it easier to enjoy the tourism sites in the city of Bogor.
