The ultimate goal is for the project to be completed on time and economically. <br /> <br /> <br /> ITB builds Labtek I and GKU II buildings in Jatinangor. Schedule plans both buildings began on June 23rd, 2012 and will be completed on December 23rd, 2012. However, due to various issues, the project has been delayed. Delay in the project could result in financial loss to the owner as well as the contractor, so the contractor should make up the delays by speeding up project activities on the critical path by adding more labors, tools, method change, material change, etc. This is called a crash program. <br /> <br /> <br /> One of crash program that is implemented by the contractor is on the wall construction. Alternative methods of crashing that can be done are replacing wall material, adding labors, and adding the work hours. <br /> <br /> <br /> From the analysis conducted found that doing a crash program by replacing the common red brick to lightweight brick on the GKU II’s first floor wall work, produces an acceleration with a minimum cost. Duration of the project can be accelerated by 12 days at a total cost increase of Rp 1,860,544.25. Generated a total duration of 19 days and the total cost of Rp 139,978,865.53. text
