called FTTH (Fiber to The Home) which enable its customer to enjoying advanced service on <br />

broadband network. Improvement in network bandwidth opens other business opportunities <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
called OTT (Over the Top). <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
OTT businesses running over Internet Provider network to serve digital service. PT Telkom sees <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
this is a great opportunity to grow and decide to enter OTT business to serving digital service. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
However it requires reforming its organization structure, which impacting to shifting its critical <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
position to another position. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
To solve the problem, it is necessary to analyze the critical position correctly to enable PT <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Telkom Indonesia entering OTT business competitively. There are some drawbacks on existing <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
method which giving a rough variable as a result of calculation of critical position. That is the <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
main factor that causes some positions to have a gap in the calculation so that it does not affect <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
the business, both when the position is empty and filled. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Therefore, the proposed solution for PT. Telkom to calculate or determine the critical position <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
using AHP, based on the criteria of critical position of PT. Telkom Indonesia. All the criteria and <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
sub-criteria were calculated for its weight of priority, and the calculation is used as a reference <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
bases for defining critical positions. If the position has a value of more than 80% then classified <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
as a critical position. The calculation shows critical position is no longer determined by its <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
position level, but rather its impact to company business direction. Moreover proposed solution <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
enabling company to determine if there’s any critical position other than higher management <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
position in regards its impact to company and its specialized skills. <br />
