Based on data by PLN from 2006 through 2014 there was an increase on average <br />

7.25% annually or demand of national electric energy increased 10.75 TWh every <br />
<br />
years. Look for next ten years the demand national electric energy will increase <br />
<br />
102.6%. for ensuring the availability of the national electric energy, beside <br />
<br />
continuously to improve power capacity, another to do is conserve energy. In this <br />
<br />
research, author will be monitoring and control of energy consumption based on <br />
<br />
Internet of Things. Kwhmeter is used to measure the electrical energy usage, <br />
<br />
energy reader module is used to read data from Kwhmeter and send the data <br />
<br />
directly to the server using MQTT protocol. The web application is used to <br />
<br />
display energy data in real time and as a tool for controlling the device remotely. <br />
<br />
The devices will be controlled in the this study are LED lamp and conventional <br />
<br />
lamp which are connected to the internet. Intelligence system will be built in order <br />
<br />
to control the device remotely and energy savings can be achieved. |
