A marketplace situated in the center of the city, its history dates back to 1810s when goods distribution is supported by railway construction, connecting Buitenzorg to Batavia. <br /> <br /> <br /> Design concept emphasizes on three points: connectivity, social interaction and locality. Connectivity of the marketplace provides physically and functionally integrated buildings within the area and supports transit-oriented further development. Social interaction is a response toward the potential of increasing level of activity. In addition to that, accounting the presence of a historical landmark near the marketplace, Stasiun Bogor, the concept of locality arises. text
