Description
Summary:The aims of this research are to identify lineaments on the top of Mount Sinabung and to improve the performances of Linear Features Density from Synthetic Aperture RADAR (LifedSAR) scripts to identify lineaments. Methods that are used in this research are study literature and imagery modelling using ALOS PALSAR image using automatic extraction on Linear Features Density from Synthetic Aperture RADAR (LifedSAR) script. However the script needs to be improved in order to facilitate the interpretation of lineaments object. LifedSAR script is improved by adding Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) algorithms and object differentiator script to distinguish lineaments. The results are lineament imageries and lineament density imageries. Fractures can be identified from lineaments image that are signed with lineaments on the surface of Mount Sinabung. Lineaments object on imagery are signed by lines object that tend to be straight form. Meanwhile, for improving performance and results on LifedSAR, additional algorithms such as CLAHE and script for differentiator object is applied. Improved performance and results can be seen from the identification of the central point of eruption of Mount Sinabung. Therefore, this script can be regarded as LifedSARv.02 which results have incrased.
