Summary: | Everyone must do mobility of going to and going back from somewhere to do their daily activities. The house is the biggest source of movement for the city, because every activity begin and end at home. The distance of public transportation to the housing can give rise to resident’s perception to use the public transportation for doing their mobility. The route of public transportation determines the accessibility of housing to the public transport modes. The farther the distance of the public transport service levels to the housing, the worse also public transportation’s accessibility to the source of movement. The waiting time becomes another reason the resident’s perception changing, the longer they wait for public transportation, the more they want to move to another modes. Because of this perception changes can cause the traffic jam due to reduced road capacity than it should, because the more volume of vehicles on the road. This study aims to identify the level of service public transport with the distribution of residential population in East Bandung. Identified the roads traversed by public transportation and observed the headway and the load factor of each public transport that serves the area of study. Made the instruction to the determination of a new route that can serve the entire distribution of housing in the East Bandung. Based on the analysis, found that there are districts that have special functions as housing is still not fully served by public transportation, which will create the percaeption of residents to use private vehicles to be higher. Headway of every district is still pretty well, because it is still appropriate standards refer to the indicators and parameters of a World Bank study.load factor of public transport in each district still able to serve the mobility of the population. The results of this analysis are expected to be an advice for the Government of Bandung in the planning public transportation’s route and become the advice to improve the condition of the road and arrange the public transportation’s route in the city of Bandung. <br />
