From the level of ground vibration influence to slope stability, we can set the limit of blasting process to keep the slope stable. Numerical method that use in this research is distinct element method. One of its advantage is accommodating time element in its calculations.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> Safety factor and peak particle velocity (PPV) relationship states that ground vibration has small effect to slope stability. 10,6 mm/s PPV value only cause 5% decrease in safety factor. To keep slope safes, PPV maximum limit to keep slope safes is 38 mm/s.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> Research from Mark R. Svinkin states that PPV maximum limit to keep slope safes is 51 mm/s. Based on his research, the result of 38 mm/s PPV can be reasonably accepted. text
