Description
Summary:X-field is undeveloped field which has oil and gas reservoirs. This Field not only has a huge amount of initial oil in place, but also has a great initial gas in place. The reservoir is formed by sandstone and has an excessed gas to be produced. This excessed gas can be used for operating oil production in X-field.

This paper explains the implementation of gas lift and gas dump flood technology to increase oil production in X-field. A simulation study was performed to understand reservoir characteristic and expected oil rate prior to the field implementation. The study results allowed to install an artificial lift using the gas production from X-field. Not only for gas lift, but also the gas can be dumped from deeper gas reservoir into the oil reservoir to increase reservoir pressure. The implementation results showed that gas lift is better in increasing oil production than gas dump flood.
