Bandung Institute of Technology became one of the institutions that also do a lot of research on quadrotor. <br /> <br /> <br /> One of the most common researches on a quadrotor is the driving force of the rotor. Axial fan is one type of rotor commonly used in quadrotor flying devices. In this final project will be designed axial fan which can be applied on Quacopter Stingray 500. The design result will be analyzed on hover condition. The axial fan design performance that has been designed will be compared with the simulation using computational fluid dynamics. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of the analysis showed a significant difference between the fan performance of the analytical calculations with the computational fluid dynamics simulation. The differences exist because there are different assumptions on theoretical calculations with computational fluid dynamics simulations. The difference is due to the distance between the axial fan and the straightener and the outlet shape. text
