The lean thinking was invented in order to eliminate the wastes and increasing more value to the customers. The topic of this final project originates from MDP company that has a role as one of the Authorized Distributor Tupperware in Indonesia. This final project is an attempt to understand, analyze the problems, and give the solutions for order fulfillment flow on the promotional product that changes every month. Data collected through interviews with MDP management, observations at the office and group in a communication system, have been collected as the input for constructed the value <br /> <br /> stream mapping. The value stream mapping method has been applied to construct thecurrent state map of the Order Fulfillment value stream and identify the wastes. In addition, other methods including the SIPOC and current reality tree, have been applied to analyze the company relationships with the business partners and developed the root cause problem. It has been concluded from the current state map of promotion product order fulfillment <br /> <br /> that there are several wastes comprised of waiting, overprocessing, partially completed work, and unused employee potential. Solutions have been proposed to better integration between the key actors to reduce the time waste for the coordination. Using the internet link <br /> <br /> in order to collect the demand from the customers has been found bring more advantages rather than on social media’s group. For the receiving process, the employees should work simultaneously on the first floor and on the third floor because the bottleneck of the process <br /> <br /> is when moving the goods through the elevator. The measurement to reduce wastes have been summarized in the draft of the future state map. The processing time reduced from 450 minutes to 308 minutes and the waiting time decreased from 4 days to 2 days. By implementing the new design, the gap of the target from the sales revenue in 2016 will decrease 36%, the amount of Rp 496,000,000. text |
