This competitive advantage is related to industrial goals, which are to achieve the best performance and the strategy to be applied so that an industry has superior characteristics that enables the industry to survive/win business competition. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> As a new area, Gorontalo Province needs a priority of industrial development in the form of Competitive Priorities Model, which can further be used as a reference and an industrial development plan in the future. Competitive Priorities Model used in this research is developed from the previous Competitive Priorities Model which has been applied in new industrialized countries. Meanwhile, the research object is focused on Small Medium Industries (SMIs). The <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> measurement of competitive priorities of the SMIs in Gorontalo Province was conducted through questionnaires, and the respondents consist of owners of SMIs, academicians, and bureaucrats. Based on the result of the questionnaire distribution and first stage data processing using The Law of Comparative Judgment (LCJ), it is revealed that there are11 (eleven) variables that are worth considering as a Competitive Priorities model in SMIs in Gorontalo Province. The order of priorities is Quality, Cost/Price, Delivery, Customer Focus, Flexibility, and Innovativeness, Market Orientation, Know-How, Progress in Technology, Trading Partners, and Institutional Support. The results of data collected and processed at the second stage show that there are 10 (ten) dominant factors which significantly influence the competitiveness of SMIs in Gorontalo Province. This competitiveness is Delivery System, Consumer Focus, Quality Cost, New Technology Implementation, Production Flexibility, Product Quality, Product Attribute, Lean Organization, Low Defect Rate, and Product Durability. text
