Summary: | <p align="justify">N219 is one of the products that will be produced in the business unit of Aircraft. This aircraft is being developed by Indonesian Aerospace and has entered the production stage. Some of the problems faced by Aerospace Indonesia in the production phase involve the problem of parts procurement, processing problems, and others. Although Indonesia Aerospace faces many obstacles, Indonesian Aerospace must make N219 Prototype Design 2 this year to fulfill contract with LAPAN.The actual issue business is a matter of time. Based on production schedule in the company, there is a delay in Prototype Design 2 production schedule. The company has set in December 2017, Prototype Design 2 has been completed. But the actual condition, there are some jobs that are late to the production schedule that already exists. the delay that occurs on the production schedule can reach until 4 months. While on the other hand, the company has made a contract with LAPAN to finish Prototype Design 2 at the end of this year. <br />

The problem that the authors get comes from direct observation from previous research and N219 project team. The main issue is Un-fixed quantity requirement because of change from MBOM of engineering team. Because of that, the material has been delay thus causing production not on schedule. N219 still in development stage thus require right strategy for procurement to faced mass production stage. <br />

To solve the problem, the author uses several methods and frameworks developed by some supply chain experts. To address the MBOM change, the author is improving the existing process business, thereby reducing the production lead-times. Meanwhile, to overcome the procurement strategy, the author tries to propose the appropriate procurement strategy using kranjlic matrix so that it can be classified outsource part in each quadrant. <br />
<br />
After using some of these methods, the author get result the company will be flexible and can solve the issue of late on material delivery. Beside that the company will be able to reduce production time, , If the production schedule delay can be reduced to 2 months, the company can save the cost of Rp 230,000,000, where the salary of the worker will be saved for 2 months and the production target can be achieved faster. <p align="justify"> |
