The ASEAN Minerals Cooperation Action Plan (AMCAP) agreed on a cooperation plan on mineral and energy to support economic growth in the ASEAN since the mineral industry is one of the pillars of the economy and contributes to the regional economy. Increasing mineral consumption is one of the factors causing economic growth in developing countries through export activities, such as that of Indonesia. <br /> <br /> <br /> Consumption of refined copper in ASEAN is predicted with econometrics with a country's GDP, a population of a country, copper price and aluminum price as copper substitution. Forecasting results illustrate the presence of market opportunities for Indonesia to remain in the market is characterized by consumption in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam is predicted increase until 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> With analysis of Constant Market Share known that Indonesia have competitiveness in importing countries in ASEAN region. This can be seen from the growth of ASEAN refined copper exports that can be offset by Indonesia and the ability of Indonesia to meet the cathode Cu as refined copper is the most consumed in ASEAN.
