Unfortunately the availability of lands that can fulfill this matter are very limited and does not equal to the needs. That limited horizontal area problem has make innovation to use vertical area increased. This lead to research and development of high rise, even super tall building infrastructure. Like other building infrastructre, there are some criteria that has to be fulfilled to obtain strength and serviceability demand, especially extreme loading cases such as earthquake. This final assignment becomes a study that explain the process of design of super tall building structure. The topic that are going to be explained is 90 stories building structure with outrigger and belt truss system. The design process begins with the creation mathematical model by using Etabs 2015 based on Indonesia’s building regulation such as SNI 1727:2012, SNI 2847:2013, dan SNI 1729:2015. Designed structure has fulfilled earthquake-resistant criteria such as interstory displacement, horizontal and vertical irregularity, torque, and P-Delta effect. In order to endure all kind of design forces, structural element have to be reinforced correctly. With all of that structural element detailed, time history loading can be done to check the performance of this structure in service condition. Synthetical time history earthquake made from scaled Chichi 1999 earthquake is used. The performance check is done by using non-linear analysis so that the formation of plastic hinges during the time history loading of each structural element can be known. The result of the time history analysis shows that this designed 90 stories building structure is not in any signs of significant damage. All of the structural element still are in the operational and elastic condition. text |
