Thematic Park of Bandung City is the one of building concept which could involve active participation of diverse actors on its management. Collaboration and innovation is the success key of the program that has been built on by the network power and participatory approach. This program achieved at least two awards because of the innovative implementation. The research about thematic park management is important, so the run of the program can be sustainable. However, the research about the collaboration in managing thematic park has never been done. Therefore, this thesis tried to examine the management of Bandung City Thematic Park in the collaborative planning perspective. <br /> <br /> <br /> The research design use qualitative research method. This method choosen because the research related to collaborative approach which is the social phenomenon consist of the actors, cases, places, and time. Primary data has been collected from in-depth interview with 13 diverse actors who are engaged in the management process of thematic park program, they are related official governments, donor enterprises, expertise, academician, and the reviewer of thematic park idea. The other primary data was collected by field observation through 14 thematic parks, they are Fotografi Park, Anak Tongkeng Park, Skateboard Park, Film Park, Super Hero Park, Musik Park, Persib Park, Jomblo Park, Fitness Park, Pet Park, Lansia Park, Kandanga Puspa Park, Vanda Park, and Gesit Park. Stakeholder analysis was choosen as the method to learn and conceptualize the relationship and involvement of actors in the collaborative planning of thematic park's management. <br /> <br /> <br /> The result showed that collaboration process runs well, inter-actors involved have a mutual cooperative relationship, and have active participation in management and financing of thematic park. However, this approach runs sporadically and pragmatically. Those will impact to the sustainability of program after the government of Bandung City Mayor 2013-2018 ended. Therefore, this collaborative planning should be made as a binding policy system. Besides, the norms of collaboration should be inherited especially to the communities and related local government officials, so the collaboration could become the sustainable value system.
