Along with the population growth, the need for clean and drinking water is increasing. So it is necessary to increase the scope of services while maintaining water quality and sustainability of the source of raw water used. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the projections, the need for clean water will reach 224 liters/second in 2038. Water Treatment Plan (WTP) is planned to be in operation for 20 years (2019-2038), with the development plan in two stages of planning. First stage will serve with discharge 134 liters/sec and additional capacity in second stage to 224 liters/sec. Raw water source for this WTP is Cigunung Agung River and Ciharus River. The reasons for that decision is that the discharge meets the needs of planning, is still not utilized optimally, it’s still less contaminated and it’s located on a high elevation to minimize pump head needed. <br /> <br /> <br /> WTP planned location in the Jangkurang village because of the area availability and relatively close to the intakes. The processing units planned in the installations are intake, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection.
