This research aims to study and apply TSA method in analysing vibration due to unbalance. <br /> <br /> In this research, vibration analysis due to unbalance was performed in one-level rotor and two-level rotor. Vibration measurements on one-level rotor performed at constant rotational speed at 1463 rpm with unbalanced mass varying from 30 to 120 g. Vibration measurements on two-level rotor performed with rotational speed varying from 800 to 2400 rpm and unbalanced mass also varying from 20 to 40 g. This research compares the vibration signal of raw data with vibration signal of TSA result. This research also anlyzed non-harmonic signal and harmonic distortion that emerged. <br /> <br /> The results of vibration analysis due to unbalance showed that TSA is able to reduce the noise in time domain and frequency domain. This research showed that for unbalance case, FFT TSA result is more closer to theory than FFT raw data. The signal analysis of TSA results also showed that RMS of harmonic distortion and non-harmonic signals that emerged are proportional to the quadratic of rotational speeds but not significantly correlated with unbalanced mass. text
