<p align="justify">Bandung is one of the city in Indonesia which has lot of colonial buildings. Nowadays, lot of colonial buildings have changed. One of the area in Bandung which has changed in building's facade is Tjitaroem Plein housing area. So many colonial house buildings in Tjitaroem Plein housing area made character or spirit of place that have to be conserved in the housing area. Eventhough, there is no rule that controls colonial house building’s facade in the area, so the question that arised is about how the character of colonial house building's facade are? Because of that, the examination of colonial house buildings character in Tjitaroem Plein housing area is needed. <br /> <br /> This research hopefully could give knowledge to the owner of colonial house building in Tjitaroem Plein housing area about how important the values that inherit in architectural elements of colonial house buildings in Tjitaroem Plein housing area. Eventhough there is some changes, hopefully not reduce the values of colonial house building's facade character, so that the values of character or spirit of place still keep maintained. <br /> <br /> This research consists of several analysis which interrelated with building's facade elements, such as : building functional analysis, building free distance analysis, building's mass pattern and proportion analysis, building visual analysis, building openings analysis and building facade analysis. Then the simulation process are proceeded to describe building's facade character which is resulted in the research by implementing simulation object to the research object road. <br /> <br /> The result of this research are character of colonial house building's facade in Tjitaroem Plein housing area. The conclution of research result was not controls the colonial building's facade in Tjitaroem Plein housing area directly, but only made as suggestion in the arrangement of the colonial building's facade guidance in Tjitaroem Plein housing area.<p align="justify">
