According to Undang-Undang No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa, one of the conditions to establish a village in Indonesia is it has village boundaries that illustrated in the map of the village and has been legalized by the Regent/Mayor. Village mapping require a technical standards. One aspect of the technical standard for village mapping is geodetic aspect. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on geodetic aspect of village mapping in Indonesia. <br /> <br /> This research was conducted by reviewing regulation and geodetic aspect of village mapping. Geodetic aspect is technical stuff in mapping related to geodesy. Geodetic aspects of village mapping in Indonesia in this research is focused on the reference system, coordinate system, scale and the information that contained in the map of the village. To deepen the results, this research also conducted by making prototype of village map, with geodetic aspect that has been generated from the study. Lastly, performed merging the results of village map with parcel data of Badan Pertanahan Nasional to verify the purpose of village maps has been produced. According to this study the right reference system for the village mapping in Indonesia is Sistem Referensi Geospasial Indonesia 2013 (SRGI 2013), the right coordinates system is Universal Transverse Mercator, minimum scale 1: 5000 and the information that contained is toponym, administrative boundaries, transport network, water, infrastructure, land use and, land cover.<p align="justify"> text
