While the mixture used is asphaltic concrete binder courses (AC-BC) which is designed in accordance with the general specifications of the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing and will be tested using Marshall test, Resilient Modulus and fatigue resistance test by four point loading controlled strain method. <br /> <br /> <br /> The elastomeric polymer content in the both of modified bitumen makes the bitumen harder, but has a higher elasticity than the Pen 60/70 bitumen.Compared to the Pen 60/70 mixture, Marshall Immersion stability of Starbit mixture is higher 1,18%, while the Cariphalte mixture is higher 1,3%. Resilient Modulus value of Starbit mixture is higher 51,57% (25°C), 30,85% (35°C), and 7,01% (45°C).Meanwhile, Resilient Modulus value of Cariphalte mixture is higher 28,43% (25°C), 17,22% (35°C), and 44,51% (45°C).The fatigue life of the Cariphalte mixture is longer than the Starbit mixture, whereas the Starbit mixturehas a longer fatigue life than the Pen 60/70 mixture.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> text |
