The growth of population in Jakarta isn’t balanced with the increasing of the existing land area of Jakarta. To answer that problem, it needs a solution to accommodate residential home for citizens of Jakarta, which is an apartment construction. The apartment must be designed to resistence of earthquake force that required by the rules standar for Jakarta. <br /> <br /> This final project discusses the planning of Tropical Kebon Melati apartment building which has two towers and two floor basement. The upper structure designed in this final project is the tower B structure which has 30 floors and one roof floor with 134,45 m heights. Tower B are designed to be buildings with the category of Seismic Design Category D and use the Special Moment Resisting Frame System and the Special Structural Wall System. <br /> <br /> <br /> In desigining the Tower B, analyzing is based on the earthquake resistant building analysis in SNI 1726: 2012, the designated building has fulfilled the inter-floor deviation limit, the P-Delta requirement, and has no irregularities. The modeling of tower B and basement structure is done by using ETABS software. In designing this building, writers also optimize the size of structural elements with the help of ETABS software. Detailing of structural elements such as beams, columns, plates, and shear walls in this building refers to SNI 2847-2013. Detailing of this structural element is done by manual calculation and with the help of software which is ETABS, SAFE, CSI COL and PCA COL. <br /> <br /> <br /> In designing drainage system of Kebon Melati Apartment, rainfall data is analyzed by one of some distribution methods dan has the lowest error. From the analysis, rainfall design in a range time period can be determined then it will be used to design drainage cross-section size that required by the rules SNI 2415:2016. Aftter that, the design is adjusted for the availability of special precast concrete drainage channels on a precast concrete producer. Besides, an absorption wells analysis is conducted for Kebon Melati Apartment location by looking at some of the parameters required by the rules SNI 2453:2002. <br /> <br /> <br /> In designing methods of upper structure constructions, zonation of construction will be designed for basement area, tower A and B area, and steel construction. In designing methods of upper structure constructions, is needed various heavy equipment to conduct the construction. Every heavy equipment has work productivity and efficiency productivity so that will affect the scheduling (in this final project, the scheduing isn’t be discussed. The upper structure constructions consists of the construction of beams, plates, columns, shear wall, steel roof, and skybridge. At the end of this final project, estimated of the upper structure construction costs will be designed and estimated of architectural an MEP costs will be designed with conceptual methods.
