Ivar rotates in prograde motion, while that of Geographos rotates in retrograde. Aim of this study is to know the distribution of surface temperatures of both asteroids with involving rotation, as well as the temperature variations of a segment on the surface of the asteroids along their orbits. The physical and orbital data are obtained from Planetary Data System (PDS) NASA, Solar System Dynamics (SSD), Near-Earth Asteroids Data Base, and NASA JPL HORIZONS. Near-Earth Asteroids Thermal Model (NEATM) was applied to model the surface temperature distribution of the asteroids. Application of NEATM to the asteroids reveals that their temperature distributions show to be realistic. Distributions of rotational surface temperature of Ivar and Geographos at aphelion and perihelion are well produced by NEATM model. Throughout their orbits both asteroid's surfaces exhibit a character of mimicking 'seasons'. In 'summer' temperatures of a surface's segment around Geographos's pole reach the maximum temperature. <p align="justify"> text |
