In its distribution of course the distribution of electricity requires a protection system, where this protection system known as GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear). The use of GIS is regulated in IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard, where one scoope is regulated about temperature rise limit for GIS, so it is necessary to do the temperature rise test. Temperature rise test is only performed for certain continuous current and a certain 𝑆𝐹6 gas pressure. So if there is a changes between, it can not be known how temperature and temperature distribution without re-testing. This can be overcome by simulating using ansys fluent software, but due to limitations owned by the company, then further analysis will be done with finite different method, where to finish this method involving php script. The first simulation is using Ansys fluent then validated against the test results data from field, in this case obtained eror value below 2%, then next analysis done with finite different methods. At the end, the error obtained between the finite different methods to fluent below 2%, and the error between the finite different methods to test data is also below 2%.

text
