Description
Summary:West Java Province is an area that has a high level of disaster, one of them is the Lembang’s fault that can cause of earthquake as primary hazard and disaster landslide as secondary hazard. At this time volcanic activities are increasing and need to be anticipated handling through disaster management. Disaster management that is very appropriate in reducing disaster risk is mitigation in the pre disaster phase. One form of mitigation in the context of disaster risk reduction is the provision of a proper and safe evacuation shelter. This evacuation place is spread in several Disaster Risk Areas Lembang, one of them in Lembang District. In Kecamatan Lembang there are 6 (six) evacuation shelter that have been established by the Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) and Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Provinsi Jawa Barat.

One of the eligibility criteria of the evacuation shelter is the availability of road network. This study aims to determine the condition of the road network in disaster prone areas of the fault. Assessment of analysis based on road network on disaster areas and road network according to physical condition by using overlay method of map and visual observation at analysis stage. The results show that 6 (six) of the total evacuation sites have road network conditions with low to high risk levels. The result of analysis in planning the evacuation route is got the service area as the place of origin and the place of evacuation as the destination area there are several road segments that are in contact with the span of the fault of the valley and has a steep slope
