STUDY OF SEISMIC HAZARD MICROZONATION MAPS OF BANDUNG CITY WITH BENIOFF (INTRASLAB SUBDUCTION) SCENARIO

This study discusses the making of seismic hazard microzonation maps of Bandung City. The microzonation maps are based on benioff scenario sources with probabilistic analysis. SPT (Standard Penetration Test) and microtemor array test data are used to prepare site...

The microzonation maps are based on benioff scenario sources with probabilistic analysis. SPT (Standard Penetration Test) and microtemor array test data are used to prepare site class map, Vs30 map, and bedrock elevation map. The author uses historical data of earthquakes with 500 km radius from center of Bandung City to process the earthquake acceleration maps at bedrock. USGS software is used to analyze bedrock acceleration. The result of deagregation in M (magnitude) and R (distance) values is used as reference of ground motion selection for spectral matching analysis with EZ-FRISK. The acceleration of earthquake at surface is processed using NERA software with 1-D wave propagation analysis. The map analysis uses 500 years and 2500 years return periods for each T= 0 s, T= 0.2 s, and T= 1 s.
text
