<p align="justify">The growth of the national construction market is currently accompanied by the increasing number of construction service providers in Indonesia. With so many service providers, of course, business competition in the Indonesian construction industry is also getting tighter. Supply chain activities become one of the main keys that need to be managed by the company to win the competition. Lean supply chain is one of the solutions to manage the company's supply chain activities. In this study will be examined about the application of the lean supply chain principle in the supply chain systems of large companies in Indonesia. The research was carried out with qualitative data analysis with a grounded theory approach based on data obtained through semi-structured interviews conducted on 4 major contractors in Indonesia which included representing state-owned enterprises, national private and foreign private companies. The results of processing and analysis show that each contractor has a different level of implementation of lean supply chain where the practice of implementing lean principles in a company's supply chain is partially implemented, supported by the establishment of the company's supply chain management division and some already mapped and identified activities that value it. This study provides a big picture of the lean supply chain principles application on large qualified construction companies in Indonesia. The results of this study can be a reference in the application of lean supply chain principles for contractor companies in Indonesia to improve the competitiveness of companies.<p align="justify">
