Today, many household appliances can be connected to the internet, the data can be analyzed, accessed or controlled everywhere. This is called as the concept of the Internet of Things. The human lifestyle shifts towards the Internet of Things with the aim of making life easier. Humans at home have many weaknesses in doing their activities, such as forgetting, wasting electrical power, and spending too much time for doing repetitive activities. Therefore, in this final project developed Home Automation System based on Internet of Things to solve various human problems by connecting various devices at home with a wireless network to be able to be controlled and monitored from inside and outside the house. In this Final Project book, the author discusses the user interface part of the Home Automation system in the form of a mobile application using the Android operating system. The application is capable to perform commands and to receive data according to the publish and subscribe principle of Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) communication protocol. The application is able to connect with server and hardware devices via the MQTT communication protocol. In the process of making the application, the first is to collect and define the various functions of the software as required for the main system, then conducted a literature study, then conducted the technical design according to desired specifications and performances, design implementation, and test all its functions. <p align="justify"> text
