LAT has a lower position than MLWS, that will cause a shift in the horizontal of the baseline outwards when the MLWS Chart Datum model was changed to LAT. Because the position of the baseline shifted towards the outside, the area of Indonesia will also increase. <br /> <br /> This final project is intended to determine the vertical position difference between MLWS and LAT and its influence on the level of significance of shifting baseline and the difference of the area that generated. Methods used include harmonic analysis of tidal using T_Tide application with tidal data from the inventory results from three stations tide BIG (Cilacap, Benoa, and Jayapura), determination MLWS and prediction of LAT, determining the difference of position of the MLWS and LAT, and the determination of shifting baselines as well as the level of significance and the difference area that generated using Map LPI and LLN in each region. <br /> <br /> LAT has a lower position than MLWS, the difference between the vertical position and the LAT region MLWS tidal station Cilacap, Benoa, and Jayapura each is 0.529 m; 0,645 m; and 0.905 m. For a level of significance, shifting baselines in the tidal station Cilacap, Benoa, and Jayapura is significant at a map scale of 1: 25,000 and 1: 50,000, and is not significant at the scale of 1:200.000 and 1: 250,000. The increasing in the area of tidal stations Cilacap, Benoa, and Jayapura each is 2,593,588.578 m2; 5,943,578.540 m2; and 32,196,604.435 m2.<p align="justify"> text
